In math today we began reviewing for the Chapter 1 test, which will be given on Tuesday of next week. The students will take a pretest tomorrow and if they score well enough on that pretest they will not be required to take the test on Tuesday. Tonight’s homework is to begin reviewing Chapter 1.
In science block 1 began to look at setting up and running an experiment. The question that they are looking at is “Will a pencil rolled from 2 feet up a plank roll twice as far as a pencil rolled from only 1 foot up the same plank?”. Today the students worked in small groups to come up with their hypotheses and created their data collecting charts in their Math & Science Notebook. Block 2 had Spanish today so they will begin the experiment tomorrow.
