Global Horizons: Fifth Grade- Foxworth & Bosch

Today we did an online Learning Styles Inventory.  This tool helped us discover if we were visual, auditory, or tactile learners.  We have many tactile learners in our class, so we’ll need to be involved in lots of “hands-on” activities.  Jumanji was our author study book today, and we talked about reading and making predictions.  We’ve had some great literature discussions about the Chris Van Allsburg books. Ives brought us a fig from a tree in his yard as a follow up to our book from yesterday, The Sweetest Fig.
