Save the Date: PTO Meeting with Jim Trelease, author, who will speak about “What turns kids on to reading?” Supper will be at 5:30 and the meeting will begin at 6:30. We are fortunate to have this fantastic opportunity!

We read the book The Memory String today and had a great literature discussion. We talked about the fact that our memories are a big part of who we are, and about how the daily events of our lives shape our attitudes, emotions, and reactions. As valued members of this learning community, we’re going to try to be more accepting, tolerant, and understanding of each other. We also spent some more time writing our personal narrative memory stories.
