Everyone looked great for school pictures today!  We continued talking about homophones.  Understanding and identifying author’s purpose was a skill we reviewed, and students did an online Quia activitiy to identify the author’s purpose of various types of writing.  We also discussed first person and third person point of view.  Good readers need to be able to identify that as they read, and as they write they need to select a point of view and stay with it.  Students identified which point of view they were using for writing the digital stories.
