Happy long weekend! Remember that students have the day off tomorrow. Mrs. Foxworth’s homeroom students brought home a blue paper that needs to be signed and returned on Monday to indicate your child’s plans for next Wednesday’s collaborative planning day.
After the spelling test today, students brainstormed to prewrite for an essay about someone who is a good role model. This is a writing contest sponsored by PTO. We also had some extended self-select reading time. One class did some small group reading, and the other class did a pair share conversation after reading. This week’s morning work quiz will be given on Monday since students won’t be at school tomorrow. Please remind them to study some more! It sounds like many of you are going to the fair this weekend.
