We continued learning about figurative language today. Hyperbole (exaggeration) was our focus today as we read The Bunyans by Audrey Wood. Tall tales provide good examples of hyperbole. Students continued working on their Lt. Governor Writing Contest essays. Both groups enjoyed a guidance visit from Mrs. Epps either yesterday or today.
