It’s hard to believe that December is already here. We only have two and a half weeks left of first semester. My day got off to a rough start when my car died as I was driving to school. Fortunately, that didn’t set the tone for the day, and my car has now been repaired.
Today we learned about two more literary devices, alliteration and onomatopoeia, and students wrote their own examples of each. They began working on PowerPoint presentations to illustrate and share their examples of the 7 literary devices we’ve studied. We were glad to get to go out for recess after the morning rain ended! In social studies we watched a UnitedStreaming video about immigration to prepare for our class projects. Have a great weekend!
It’s December!
