Global Horizons: Fifth Grade- Foxworth & Bosch

Today we continued working on this week’s vocabulary words.  Students created Open Mind word webs for the words remedy and bedlam.  Fortunately we avoided classroom bedlam today, in spite of the fact that it was a special day!  The quiz on these words won’t be until Tuesday of next week.  Students are continuing the process of research.  They found and bookmarked a new site today and took some notes in their writer’s notebook.  They continue to learn about searching and making determinations about useful sites.  They are also learning to document their sources.  Students had a few minutes to explore some online Valentine’s Day activities. 
Reminder: Exploratory course request sheets for middle school are due tomorrow.
